Policies

Here’s a quick look at some of our important policies. These help us create a safe, comfortable environment for all the dogs in our care.

Vaccinations and Health

🩺Health & Vaccination Policy

***Proof of up-to-date vaccines required before visiting.***

• Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP vaccines
• Vaccines must be given by a licensed vet at least 14 days before your dog's visit
Flea/tick and heartworm prevention is required
• Disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications before booking
• We can administer pill-form medications—more complex needs must be discussed in advance

pick up and Drop Off

🚗 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Policy
• All pickups and drop-offs are by appointment only
• We cannot accommodate unscheduled arrivals - client dogs are in active care and not left unattended
Please notify if you may be running a little behind or early, just so we can make sure the gate is open for you.

• Early or late arrivals over 30 minutes that were not pre-scheduled will incur a $40 fee.
(This is due to owners showing up several hours behind planned schedule or very late past 10:30pm unscheduled. Please keep in mind this is our home, and not a large volume kennel, so we plan our doctor or vet appointments, training sessions, dog activities or exercising them, potty breaks, meet and greets, bathing dogs or trimming nails, feedings, etc. around pick up and drop offs.)

⏰ Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times
Boarding Drop-Off:
7am–9am or 4pm–6pm
Boarding Pick-Up: 7am–9am (if after this, your dog can schedule a longer stay for a $15 care fee per dog)

Day Camp Drop-Off: 7am–9am
Day Camp Pick-Up: 4pm–6pm

🐶 Extra Stay Option
Boarding dogs picked up after 9am are welcome to stay longer if needed! An additional care fee applies of $15 per dog, with pickup required to be scheduled and by 6pm.

🐾Exemptions
An exemption for the early/late arrivals may be provided for clients if they are:

🐾 Meet & Greet Policy
Before your dog’s first boarding or day camp stay, we require a one-time meet & greet at our home to ensure they’re a good fit.

Meet & Greet Details
• Required for new dogs unless waived
• Your dog stays for a few hours so we can assess comfort, behavior, and fit
• Ensures a safe, happy environment for all dogs in our care

Dogs Outside of Our Program Requirements:
We’re unable to accept dogs who show:
• Aggression (toward people or dogs)
• Destructive behavior or severe separation anxiety
• Signs of illness or are in heat
• Fence jumping/escape behaviors

Social Play Preferences
Let us know if you’re comfortable with your dog participating in group play.
We group dogs by size, temperament, and energy level.

Meet & Greet Exemptions
•
Waived by us after speaking with you about your dog
• Dogs under 25lbs may be exempt if they are not human or dog aggressive
• Working or sport dogs

Not a Fit?
If your dog isn't the right match for our setup, we’re happy to recommend other trusted providers that we think very highly of and would trust our own dogs with!

⚠️ If any dog shows aggression during their stay, you will be contacted to pick them up immediately.

deposits and payment

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your dog’s stay, unless otherwise decided upon, as we offer flexibility to repeat clients or special circumstances. Bookings are confirmed only after the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due before or at drop-off via Venmo, Zelle, or cash. Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance are eligible for a refund, excluding holidays which require a 5 day notice to allow individuals on our waiting list for holidays the opportunity to book. No shows are non-refundable, as a 72 hour notice is required. We do not offer refunds for early pick-ups.

Emergency Contact

An up-to-date emergency contact is required. In case of an emergency, we will make every effort to reach them. Please ensure your contact is reliable, and let us know if any changes occur.

Photography

📸Photos & Updates
We love capturing your dog’s fun moments during their stay! Whether it’s a themed day, holiday event, or just everyday fun, we’ll send you updates with photos via text or email - no need to reply, they’re just for your peace of mind. We also enjoy sharing happy guest moments on our social media for everyone to enjoy.

Holidays

We’re closed for pick-up and drop-off on select holidays (New Year’s Eve & Day, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day). Please plan to drop off at least one day early when scheduling. Holiday stays book fast - advance reservations recommended.

As always, dogs sensitive to loud noises, including fireworks, will receive extra care and calming activities during holidays.
